We strongly recommend you read through these FAQs, if you are facing any issues using the app.

I recently changed/upgraded my mobile, how can I access my premium subscription?

If you moved to a new mobile, or upgraded your mobile, and are not able to access the premium subscription. Please follow the following steps to restore the subscription.

1. Make sure that you are logged into the App Store on your upgraded/new device, using the same account from which you purchased the subscription and be connected to the Internet. ( You can verify that account has active subscription on iPhone/iPad by going to Settings > iTunes & App Store > [Apple ID at top of screen] > Subscriptions)
2. Open the Meditative Mind App and tap on any Premium content.
3. In the subscription screen which opens up, scroll to the bottom, you will see  "Already Subscribed? Restore Purchase" option. Please tap on that.
4. This should activate the subscription on your new device.

Please note in release 1.30.8 we have added optional login/signup functionality. Once you are signed-in, we will automatically sync you subscription, favorites and listening history across all devices.

I have 2 devices on which I would like to run premium subscription, do I have to purchase new subscription.

No. Once you have purchased premium subscription, you can activate it on any of your devices. To make the process seamless, please sign up for Meditative Mind ID on the device which has subscription active, which should be available in 1.30+ version of the app. Once you sign-up, your subscription, favorites and listening history are all synced on all of your devices.

How can I enable listening history?

Listening history is automatically enabled once you sign-in. To sign-in, please go to home screen. On the top right side of the screen you will see icon with the user outline. Tap on that. You can login with either Apple ID or Google ID. Once logged in, we will automatically sync enable your listening history. Any tracks played from more than 15 secs will be captured in your listening history on any device you are signed in.

How can I access and edit my listening history?

To access. your listening history, make sure you are logged in. Now on the home screen, go to your profile, by tapping on the colorful user icon on the top right. You should see Listening History section there.

Once inside the history, you can erase any track, by tapping "Edit" button on the top right and then tapping the cross button on the tracks you would like to erase.

What kind of content is available in the app?

Currently we have Chakra Healing Music, Solfeggio Frequency Healing Music, Sleep Music, Guided Meditations, Mantra Meditations, Yoga Music, Nature Sounds and World Music. We add new music, chants and sounds every week.

Is it free or a paid App?

It is free app to download and install. Also we have lots of tracks freely available, so you can start meditating and experience the app fully without any fee. We do have a lot of premium music content such as long format sleep music tracks, healing camps and sadhanas which are accessible when you subscribe to Meditative Mind Premium. All the Premium Tracks show a small lock on the track image.

Can I download the tracks?

Yes, Offline download feature is available when you subscribe to Meditative Mind Premium. You can download any track by pressing the Download Icon on the Track listing screen. Free users can download upto 3 tracks. Premium subscribers can download any number of tracks.( depending upon the space available in the device). Please be mindful when downloading very long tracks, as they can take a lot of space in the device. A 9 hour track is around 500MB( ~ half a GB)

When you subscribe, you will be able to access your offline downloads, without needing any internet connection.  

Where can I see all my offline downloads?

All the offline tracks are saved inside the app. So you will be able to access them from the app at multiple places.

  1. In the Track Listing Screen. The downloaded tracks appear with the slightly greenish background and download icon is filled with dark bluish/purple color.
  2. From Home Screen : In the Home Screen, press the 3 colorful dots on the top right hand side. From the menu, select "Offline Downloads"
  3. From "No Internet Connectivity" Indicator : When the app detects that there is no internet connection, it may show a pink banner, suggesting that internet connectivity is not available. Click on the 3 dots on the banner, and on the "No Internet Connectivity" screen press "Downloads" button.
  4. Loading Error Screen : When app experiences some network trouble while loading the content, It will display options to "Retry" or "Go to Your Offline Downloads"

How can I mark a track as my favorite?

If you like what you hear, you can mark it as your favorite in the big track playback screen. Look at the bottom of the screen and press the "red heart icon" to mark any track as your favorite.

How can I browse the App without closing/stopping the track?

If you would like to browse the app and the content library, without stopping the track, you can minimize the track by tapping on the down arrow on top the track playback screen. This will minimize the track, without stopping the playback, and you can continue to browse through the app.

How can I rewind and forward any track?

To Rewind : Go to the track playback screen, press the button left to the "Play/Pause" button, marked as 60s, this will rewind the playhead by 60 seconds.

To Forward : Go to the track playback screen, press the button right to the "Play/Pause" button, marked as 60s, this will forward the playhead by 60 seconds.

How can I unlock all the content?

In order to unlock the premium content, you will need to subscribe to the Meditative Mind Premium. You can access the subscription screen in following ways.

  1. By Tapping "Unlock Premium Premium" on the Home Screen
  2. By Tapping any Locked Content , Track or Series

On the subscription screen, pricing pertaining to your country will be shown. If you agree to the pricing and billing terms, you can proceed by tapping the white "Subscribe Now" button at the bottom on the screen.

Depending upon the device and your preferences, subscription sign-up will happen through Apple In-App Purchase functionality. Once subscribed, you can close the subscription window. At this stage, you should have access to all the premium content.

In a case, where the screen does not refresh, due to network issues. Please kill the app, and open it again.

How can I cancel my subscription?

Cancel Subscription on iOS

In order to cancel your subscription, you can follow the below steps recommended by Apple

  1. Open the "Settings" App on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap Subscriptions. (If you don't see "Subscriptions", tap "iTunes & App Store" instead. Then tap your Apple ID, tap View Apple ID, sign in, scroll down to Subscriptions and tap Subscriptions.)
  4. Tap the the app name whose subscription you would like to mange. In this case tap "Meditative Mind"app icon.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, the subscription is already cancelled and won't renew.

Cancel Subscription on Android

  1. Open the Google Play app
  2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
  4. Select the subscription you want to cancel.
  5. Tap Cancel subscription.
How can I restore the subscription bought on another device?

At the bottom of subscription screen, tap on "Already Subscribed? Restore Purchases". If the apple id you have associated with the device has an active subscription associated with it, the subscription will be restored.

How can I delete my account and data from Meditative Mind servers?

From release 1.57 on iOS devices, we are now supporting account deletion. To delete your account, please tap on the Colored User Profile icon on the right top of the home screen. This should take you to the User Profile screen. Scroll to the bottom of the screen, you should see "Delete Account" link. Tap on the link to confirm deletion of the account. In addition to deleting your account and data from our servers, we also de-link your AppleID as a sign-in provider for the app.

Things to note before you delete you account and data with us.

- You won't loose your subscription. You wont be able to access it immediately after deletion, but your paid subscription is linked to your Apple App Store login, and we have explained below how you can get access to premium content again.

  • What all is deleted?
  • - Your Favorites
  • - Your listening history
  • - Your sign-in details(name, email, region) and subscription association
  • - Your last sign-in date and time
  • - Your authentication session and account information
  • Once deletion is completed, we will not be able to recover any of this information.
How can I enable the premium subscription, after deleting my account.

Once you delete your account, the association between your authenticated user session and subscription is also deleted. But enabling your existing subscription again is super easy on iOS devices. Please follow the following steps.

  • 1. Make sure that you are logged into the App Store on your device, using the same account from which you purchased the subscription and be connected to the Internet. ( You can verify that account has active subscription on iPhone/iPad by going to Settings > iTunes & App Store > [Apple ID at top of screen] > Subscriptions)
  • 2. Open the Meditative Mind App and tap on any Premium content.
  • 3. In the subscription screen which opens up, scroll to the bottom, you will see  "Already Subscribed? Restore Purchase" option. Please tap on that.
  • 4. This should activate the subscription.
